Wild Bark HD

The Wild Bark HD is a machine for the serious operator who can appreciate it's rugged design, modern technology, and superior production capability.

It is used in high production hardwood or pine mills with log diameters up to 54"

The standard machines handles logs up to 16 feet nominal. Machine extensions up to 24 feet are optional.

Features of Wild Bark HD

The machine is built on a solid, heavy duty welded steel frame. The frame supports a vertically arranged buggy track. Six heavy duty large diameter V - track rollers allow for a smooth running of the buggy. The debarker head is mounted on the buggy and driven by a 50 Hp electric motor via V- belts. A heavy duty air cylinder does the lifting and lowering of the debarking head. The cylinder controls are electric over air solenoid valves and an integrated proportional pressure control valve allows the operator to change the head down pressure during the debarking process.

The bull wheel assembly is of heavy duty construction with shaft diameter up to 5 3/16. The bull wheels are fastened with power locks to eliminate any keyways in the shaft, and are supported by multiple plastic lined bearings.
